Terms of use

Flockstock is run by Ghostscript Labs Ltd, a company registered in Scotland (company number SC897850), registered office 3 Ogilvie Way, Livingston, EH54 8HL, United Kingdom.

  1. Agreement. By creating an account you agree to these terms with Ghostscript Labs Ltd.
  2. Your account. Keep your sign-in secure. You're responsible for activity in your household, including people you invite.
  3. Your records are yours. You own your flock data and photos. You give us a licence to store and display them to run the service and, for photos you choose to share to a breed page, to show them publicly until you unshare them.
  4. Not professional advice. Breed information, withdrawal-period reminders, bird flu zone alerts and pedigree certificates are guides only. Always check the medicine label, your vet and official GOV.UK and APHA sources. Pedigree certificates come from your own records and are not breed-club or registry certificates.
  5. Bird flu alerts. We try to keep zone alerts current but they can be delayed or wrong. Official APHA and DEFRA notices always take priority.
  6. Acceptable use. No unlawful content, harassment, spam, other people's photos without permission, or attempts to break or scrape the service. We can remove content or close accounts that break these rules.
  7. Suggestions. If you suggest a change to a breed page, you let us use, edit and publish it.
  8. Paid plans. [Prices, renewal, cancellation and 14-day cooling-off rights, to be added when pricing is agreed and billing is switched on]
  9. Marketplace. The marketplace isn't live yet. Joining the waitlist doesn't create any obligation. Separate terms will apply when it opens.
  10. Availability. We aim to keep Flockstock running but can't promise it will always be available. Egg taps saved offline sync when you're back online.
  11. Liability. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law. Otherwise we're not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months, or £50 if you use Flockstock for free.
  12. Closing your account. You can delete your account at any time. You can export your records and delete your account from More → Account while signed in. We'll give at least 30 days' notice if we ever close the service, with a way to export your records.
  13. Law. Scots law applies, and you can bring claims in the courts where you live in the UK.
